Eco-Friendly Recycled Feed Bags...
Betsy sews...
My mother, my inspiration, is a genius behind a sewing machine, taught me to sew... My first sewing machine was given to me by my Grandmother, who could no longer use it... I still use this machine... On and off over the years I made shirts, pants, did mending, etc...
Then I married a Thoroughbred Horse trainer...
My sewing machine surely comes in handy making saddle towels, girth covers, and, of course, repairing the seemingly endless supply of tattered horse blankets...
The famed Blacksmith, Ian McKinlay, even had me design and sew a special "boot" for his patented Glue on Shoes...
but have you ever gone into a Gift Shop or Tack Store to buy a cute, little horse-themed bag... crazy expensive... I said to myself... "I know I can make THAT"...
I bought fabric and made a purse for a dear friend of mine as a gift... She LOVED it and passed the word around... And so started "Betsy sews..."
One day after feeding our horses I realized that these feed bags are plastic and should be recycled... What a nice design on the bag... Well it IS a bag... Just add handles...
And here it is... Betsy sews... Eco-Friendly Recycled Horse Feed bags, etc...
